Very interesting stuff, a mate of mine has a long rifle from the boxer rebellion…..long rifle indeed, over 2 meters long, He calls it the Chinese 3 man gun, as it apparently needs 3 blokes to hold it up.
It is currently in bits awaiting restoration. The stock appears to be bamboo, the calibre at least .50 & I can’t picture the means of ignition at the moment, but will find out.
