I have just heard there is a chance for Nioa to bring the Ruger No.1 in chambered in 303British into Australia.
The production run is “exclusive” which I can only assume means one off. So if you are after one of these ring your dealer and let them know that you want them.
At this point in time I could not source a firm suggested retail price but I think they will be within the same ball park as regular #1′s (probably a little bit more).
It is really interesting to see this and I think that 303 buffs out there will be dead keen to get a hold of one of these.
I am very curious to see what sort of performance the 303brit will deliver in a modern action.
Either way, if you are salivating over one right now to the point you will probably order one, they are expected to land in the country sometime in late 2010.

One large Sydney based gunshop is quoting just under $1400. But by the time the rifles arrive, late 2010 or early 2011, the exchange rate may change this price a little.
I’ve ordered one to go with the other No.1 rifles I have. A 215gn bullet @ 2200fps will be very nice thankyou.
