New Gun Safes & Gun Care Products From Winchester
Winchester Australia have just released their new gun safe and gun care lines.
The full range of safes come in 6,8,16,20 and 26 gun safes. All feature a 3mm steel body with the 20 gun safe offering a 30 minute fire resistance rating and the 26 Winchester Supreme Gun Safe offering a whopping 120 minutes of fire resistance it is also 404kgs so there would be absolutely no legislative need to bolt the 26 or the 20 gun (181kg) safe down for a cat A or B License. This is a good thing, especially for renters as landlords tend to not like their tenants drilling holes in their walls and floor.
The 6 and 8 gun safes come with a 5 point key lock with internal locking ammo box.
The 16 and 20 gun safes come with an 8 point electronic keypad locking systems with key overrides for when then batteries get flat.
The 26 gun Supreme safe has a whopping 13 locking points and an electronic keypad, gear driven vault locking system. It is the real deal when it comes to gun safes. I want one but doubt I could ever afford one as it is about as high end as you can get in a gun safe but if I could I would.
Last but not least there is the Ranger pistol safe which electronic keypad locking system and carries a 45 minute fire resistance rating and a 45 minute fire resistance rating. It is quite a large pistol safe at 91kgs and 762mm high and about 500 and something millimetres deep and wide.
Also from Winchester are two new gun care products Winchester Gun Wash and Winchester Gun Cleaner.
Winchester Gun Cleaner is a cleaner, lubricant and protectant for all firearms. It also has an anti-corrosive protectant coating.
Winchester Gun Wash is a deep penetrating cleaner that cleans gun actions without disassembly. Winchester Gun Wash contains a high grade solvent/degreaser that blasts away oil, grease and residues from metal parts.
So there you have it, the latest products from Winchester.

G’day Keith,
I went to the Winchester (Olin) website because I’d seen these safes advertised in the US. I assume there the same safe, by looks and paint scheme.
There was no mention of RRP and the pistol safe (the safe I was most interested in) isn’t legal in NSW, don’t know about other states.
Firearms registry say a minimum of 6mm steel.
No one seems to know anything about them, just the old Winchester ones made locally and painted in Winchester colours, with Winchester badging.
Can you shed anymore light on these?
