British Sniper Craig Harrison killed two Al-Qaeda insurgents at a distance of 2474.98m away outgunning previous record holder Canadian Army Cpl. Rob Furlong who also shot an Al-Qaeda insurgent 2429m. The rifle he used was a Accuracy International L11583 long-range rifle.
Harrison found out about his record nine days ago, when he returned to England. In the weeks after the event, he suffered a minor gunshot wound and broke his arms when his vehicle hit a roadside bomb.
Good on ya Sniper!
